Maestro is a beautiful model of the modern day sports horse. He brings stunning good looks, an elegant balanced canter, easy scope, fast reflexes all combined with a can do attitude making him a dream for breeders.
Maestro comes from a family of proven showjumping horses. His grand dam Batari competed successfully ,with Irish rider Trevor Coyle, at 140 level and only produced one foal before her sporting career this being maestro’s mother Grand Tari. She competed to 1.20 level as a young horse before concentrating on her breeding career.
Unfortunately he will be off from competition this season after picking up an injury. He will have all the time he could possibly need to make a full recovery and We look forward to having him back out at shows as soon as the time is right.
Maestro’s first foals are nothing short of exceptional and have all inherited his stunning looks, friendly nature and most importantly his canter! They are all a good size and have a solid frame.
His sire, Harley vdl (Heartbreaker x Carthago z) was highly successful in international Grand Prix level and outstanding performances of his offspring got him awarded preferent by the KWPN.
His dam sire, Cardento is a Holstein stallion who has everything, a top pedigree, the ability to jump at Olympic level, always passing his talent and golden character to his offspring. He won a silver medal at the world and European championships and at the Athens Olympics 2004. Cardento is known to pass on his golden character to all his offspring.
His grand dam sire, Larino competed to 160 himself and is a son of the famous Olympic stallion Concorde.
