Terms of use:
Pick up and dispose of all horse droppings and rubbish into the wheelbarrows and bins provided.
Return all fences to their original position and put fences back up to a course of approx 1m after use.
Ensure all poles are back onto their corresponding fences and leave no poles on the floor.
A fine of £5.00 is issued for droppings/rubbish left in the arena.
Any damage to the equipment or facility must be reported. Broken equipment will be need to be replaced like for like by the hiree.
CCTV is in operation.
Please pick up any droppings left in the car park and put them in the wheelbarrow provided.
First Aid:
There are first aid points in the car park office and opposite the arenas in the secretaries box. If you need first aid please speak to one of the staff on the main stable yard and this can be arranged. If you have an accident on site you must fill out an accident report form before leaving site. Please let the yard know if you remove/use anything from the first aid kits so it can be replaced.
Terms and Conditions:
1. All visitors and their associates take full responsibility for their own health and safety on site and the actions and behavior of themselves and their horse(s). The owners and staff of Leyland Court do not accept responsibility for any damages or accidents involving visitors or any of the visitors’s associates, vehicles or horses.
2. Leyland Court has taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the owners/staffs requests.
3. Participants, or their parents/guardians if rider is under 18 years, must consider themselves competent to complete the activity for which they are visiting Leyland Court. It is not the responsibility of the organisers to decide if a rider is competent or their mount is suitable for the level/ activity they are undertaking. If the owner deems any rider or horse to be unsafe to participate they will be asked to leave site and no refund will be given.
4. The organisers, their representatives or helpers do not accept liability for injury, damage or loss suffered by spectators, competitors, their horses, grooms, friends, vehicles or property however caused and under any circumstances.
5. Instructors teaching on site must have their own insurance and provide Leyland Court with a copy of the insurance certificate before teaching on site.
6. A correctly fitted riding hat complying with current safety standards, and safe footwear must be worn whilst mounted. Body protectors are strongly recommended for show jumping and are compulsory for jumping any solid obstacle.
7. We reserve the right to cancel or alter any booking at any time.
8. No refunds will be given for hire cancelled by the hiree unless it is deemed to be an exceptional circumstance.
11. In the event of a booking being cancelled by Leyland Court fees will be refunded.
12. It is the responsibility of all participants to clear up their horse droppings and rubbish before leaving the site.
13. All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Owners who allow their dogs to run loose will be required to leave the site immediately.
14. The organisers reserve the right to require anyone to leave the site without the need to give a reason.
15. Please pick up any droppings left in the car park and put them in the wheelbarrow provided.
16. ALL HORSES MUST HAVE HAD FLU VACCINATIONS WITHIN THE LAST 12 MONTHS, OWNERS MAY BE ASKED TO PROVIDE PROOF OF THIS ON THE DAY.
