Our outdoor arenas have recently undergone a recent refurbishment to feature a new water complex, ditches, steps, a ramp all enclosed in new Duralock white railings. All catered towards our Arena Eventing Winter Series.
The event will be held across 2 arenas on a surface. The course will be designed and built by Gilly Milner, incorporating show jumps and cross country fences to test both horse and rider.
The classes are open to everyone. No British Eventing membership is required. Competitors must be 11 on the 1st January unless your parent or guardian accept you are under the age of 11 and safe to compete. Proof will be required by submitting 3 event completion results.
The following classes will be run:
>Reaseheath College 80cm
>Tatton Horseboxes 90cm
>Protect My Income 100cm
>Equine 74 Novice
Rosettes will be placed from 1st to 6th.
All competitors need to bring a competitor number bib please in order to compete.
The entry fee is £22 per entry, plus a £2 medic fee for every entry. Please note if your entry payment is not received before Friday 14th February your entry will be void. No payment means no entry, there will be no payment on the day.
Entries can be received via online, in the post or via the phone. Payment can be accepted by a cheque made payable to Kelsall Hill Limited, cash or by card over the phone. Payment is preferred prior to the event please. If you have any special requests please clearly state it on the entry form or inform a member of staff.
The entries will close on Tuesday 11th February, however if entries aren’t full they will remain open. Entries will not be taken on the day. There will be no entry fee refund after Monday 10th February. Any withdrawals following Monday 10th February will still be expected to pay due to admin and organisation for the event already being carried out. For any competitor who fails to show up or doesn't pay for their entry for each event will not be allowed to enter unless payment is received with the entry.
Please note the cross country fences will not be anchored to the ground in the arena.
The dress code is XC clothing, wearing a jockey skull cap and body protector and horses do not need to be plaited.
All riders must abide by the rules and terms and conditions set out at Kelsall Hill Equestrian Centre.
West Lancs County Pony Club are running an Arena Event points series for the Coggle Challenge Cup. This is a Winter points series sponsored by Town Vets and open to West Lancs County members only. It is running at 3 different venues, Church Farm, Bold Heath and Kelsall, using results from the competitions organised by each venue.
