FEI Rankings Monthly Update – December 2025

The FEI oversees around 70 Rankings and Standings across all the disciplines, from World Rankings calculated on a monthly basis for Athletes, Horses and/or Combinations, to league, team and regional based standings for Series such as the Longines League of Nations™, FEI World Cup™ and FEI Nations Cup™, as well as a variety of youth categories, among others. 

You will find below a snapshot of the main movers and shakers for the month of December 2025 in the senior World Rankings.  


Longines Rankings: Kent Farrington closes 2025 as world number one


Kent Farrington (USA) remains at the top of the Longines Rankings for yet another month with a tally of 3,417 points, followed by Great Britain’s Scott Brash, who stays behind the American with 3,222 points, while Germany’s Christian Kukuk ascends to the top 3 on 3,155 points after surpassing Ben Maher (GBR – 3,152 points). Gilles Thomas (BEL) closes the top 5 with 3,039 points.

Richard Vogel (GER – 2,870 points) maintains his sixth position, while Laura Kraut (USA – 2,779 points) and Harrie Smolders (NED – 2,712 points) exchange positions on seventh and eight respectively. France’s Julien Epaillard is now ninth with 2,711 points, followed by Daniel Coyle (IRL), tenth on 2,697 points.


Longines League of Nations™ Ranking: USA’s dominance continues

For the eleventh consecutive month, USA (14,780 points) maintains its position as leader of the Longines League of Nations™ ranking. Current European Champions, Belgium (14,346 points) is second, followed by Team France (13,973 points), who is now third after climbing two spots.

Ireland drops to fourth, with a tally of 13,763 points, followed by Germany, with 13,558 points. The rest of the positions remain unchanged, with Great Britain (13,195 points), Netherlands (11,819 points), Italy (10,177 points), Switzerland (10,169 points) and Brazil (9,429 points).


FEI Dressage World Ranking – Athletes: Justin Verboomen consolidates the top spot

For the fourth consecutive month, Justin Verboomen (BEL – 1,958 points) is at the top of the world ranking. In second position lies Isabell Werth (GER), on 1,798 points. Denmark’s Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour climbs two spots and is now third on 1,760 points, followed by British duo formed by Becky Moody (1,757 points) and Charlotte Fry (1,665 points).


FEI Dressage World Ranking - Horses: Zonik Plus reigns for another month

No changes at the top of the Horses’ ranking this month. The 9-year-old black stallion, and double European Champion, Zonik Plus, is the leader of the Horses’ ranking for fourth consecutive month, with 1,958 points. Jagerbomb (1,757 points) remains in second place, followed by Glamourdale, with 1,665 points. Fame stays in fourth position (1,636 points), followed by Bluetooth OLD, fifth on 1,615 points.


FEI Eventing World Athlete Ranking: Harry Meade’s reign continues

Harry Meade (GBR) remains at the top of the World ranking for the seventh consecutive month with 588 points. Meade is followed by USA’s Boyd Martin, who remains just 51 points behind the leader. Current European Champion Laura Collet (GBR) maintains the third place on 469 points, followed by Tim Price (NZL – 455 points) and Rosalind Canter (GBR) who remains fifth on 453 points.


FEI Driving World Ranking - Four-in-Hand / Pairs / Singles: no changes at the top

The top positions in the FEI Driving World Rankings Four-in-Hand, Pairs and Singles remain unchanged. In the Four-in-Hand division, reigning World Champion Boyd Exell (AUS) continues to dominate with 247 points, while Stan van Eijk (NED – 112 points) remains at the top of the Pairs category. In Singles France’s Marion Vignaud leads the pack with 77 points.


FEI Endurance Riders and Trainer World Rankings: Melody Theolissat holds onto pole position

France’s Melody Theolissat (FRA) retains her top slot in the FEI Endurance Riders World Ranking with 1,089 points, with compatriots Virginie Atger and Lea Vandekerckhove – second and third last month – switching places this month. Vandekerckhove now sits in second place with 980 points and Atger slips to third on 974.

In the Endurance Trainers' World Ranking, last month’s leader, Spain’s Diego Bellón Santos slips to second place on 1,037 points, leaving the top spot open for Mohammed Ahmad Ali Al Subosi (UAE) to take it on 1,080 points. Third position this month goes to Robert Diez Noguera (ESP) who makes an impressive climb from 10th position last month, now sitting with 1,026 points.


FEI Para Dressage World Individual, Team & U18 Ranking: Howard, Reilly and Team USA lead the way

Team USA are leading the way in the senior Para Dressage Rankings: Fiona Howard (1,619 points) and Team USA (1,339 points) maintain the top spot in both Individual and Team rankings. Sara Morganti (ITA) and Rixt van der Horst (NED) remain second and third with 1,617 and 1,565 points respectively. Italy (1,313 points) and Germany (1,300 points) are second and third respectively in the Team ranking. Ireland’s Katie Reilly (1,272 points) leads the FEI Para Dressage U18 World Individual Ranking, followed by Clodagh Walsh (IRL), second with 1,132 points, and Elan Williams (GBR), third on 1,073 points.
