FEI Rankings Monthly Update – January 2026

The FEI oversees around 70 Rankings and Standings across all the disciplines, from World Rankings calculated on a monthly basis for Athletes, Horses and/or Combinations, to league, team and regional based standings for Series such as the Longines League of Nations™, FEI World Cup™ and FEI Nations Cup™, as well as a variety of youth categories, among others. 

You will find below a snapshot of the main movers and shakers for the month of January 2026 in the senior World Rankings, as well as a special spotlight on the Longines Rankings for this month’s special “Ranking Spotlight”. 


Longines Rankings: Kent Farrington starts 2026 as world number one

Kent Farrington (USA) starts the new year at the top of the Longines Rankings with a tally of 3,487 points, followed by Great Britain’s Scott Brash, who stays behind the American with 3,222 points, while Germany’s Christian Kukuk remains in the top 3 on 3,130 points. Ben Maher (GBR – 3,089 points), Gilles Thomas (BEL – 3,009 points), Richard Vogel (GER – 2,912 points) and Laura Kraut (USA – 2,809 points) are still fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh respectively.


France’s Nina Mallevaey reaches the top 10 for the first time and is now eighth after climbing four spots on 2,788 points, ahead of McLain Ward (USA – 2,769 points), who is now ninth, and her compatriot Julien Epaillard, closing the top 10 with 2,766 points.


Longines League of Nations™ Ranking: USA’s remains world leader 

It’s been already a year since Team USA (15,055 points) took the top position of the Longines League of Nations™ ranking. Belgium (14,531 points) is second, followed by France (14,058 points). Ireland remains fourth, with a tally of 13,934 points, followed by Germany, fifth with 13,606 points. Great Britain (13,385 points), Netherlands (11,719 points), Italy (10,447 points), Switzerland (10,100 points) and Brazil (9,364 points) also maintain their positions from sixth to 10th.


FEI Dressage World Ranking – Athletes: Justin Verboomen Justin Verboomen reigns for another month

Five months after climbing to the top, Justin Verboomen (BEL – 1,958 points) remains number one in the world ranking. In second position lies now Great Britain’s Becky Moody, with 1,778 points, after climbing two spots, followed by Isabell Werth (GER – 1,724 points). Charlotte Fry (GBR – 1,711 points) climbs one spot to reach the fourth place, while her fellow countryman Carl Hester makes it back to the top 5 on 1,636 points.


FEI Dressage World Ranking - Horses: Another month at the top for Zonik Plus

No changes at the top of the Horses’ ranking this month. The 9-year-old black stallion, and double European Champion, Zonik Plus, is the leader of the Horses’ ranking for the fifth consecutive month, with 1,958 points. Jagerbomb (1,778 points) remains in second place, followed by Glamourdale, with 1,711 points. Fame stays in fourth position (1,636 points), followed by Bluetooth OLD, fifth on 1,615 points.


FEI Eventing World Athlete Ranking: Harry Meade holds the crown 

Harry Meade (GBR) maintains the top position in the World ranking for the eighth consecutive month with 588 points. Meade is followed by USA’s Boyd Martin, who remains just 51 points behind the leader. Current European Champion Laura Collet (GBR) maintains the third place on 469 points, followed by Tim Price (NZL – 455 points) and Rosalind Canter (GBR) who remains fifth on 453 points.


FEI Driving World Ranking - Four-in-Hand / Pairs / Singles: new year, same leaders 

The leaders of the FEI Driving World Rankings Four-in-Hand, Pairs and Singles are the same at the start of the new year. In the Four-in-Hand division, reigning World Champion Boyd Exell (AUS) continues to dominate with 248 points, while Stan van Eijk (NED – 112 points) remains at the top of the Pairs category. In Singles, France’s Marion Vignaud leads the pack with 77 points.


FEI Endurance Riders and Trainer World Rankings: no changes at the top

France’s Melody Theolissat (FRA) remains number one of the FEI Endurance Riders World Ranking with 1,089 points, now followed by Argentina’s Yair Manno, who has climbed from fourth thanks to his 985 points. Lea Vandekerckhove (FRA) drops to third with 944 points.

In the Endurance Trainers' World Ranking, Mohammed Ahmad Ali Al Subosi (UAE) still commands the ranking with 1,130 points while Spain’s duo Diego Bellón Santos (1,051 points) and Robert Diez Noguera (1,020) are second and third respectively.


FEI Para Dressage World Individual, Team & U18 Ranking: Howard, Reilly and Team USA in the lead

Team USA are leading the way in the senior Para Dressage Rankings: Fiona Howard (1,619 points) and Team USA (1,339 points) maintain the top spot in both Individual and Team rankings. Sara Morganti (ITA) and Rixt van der Horst (NED) remain second and third with 1,617 and 1,565 points respectively. Italy (1,313 points) and Germany (1,300 points) are second and third respectively in the Team ranking. Ireland’s Katie Reilly (1,272 points) leads the FEI Para Dressage U18 World Individual Ranking, followed by Clodagh Walsh (IRL), second with 1,132 points, and Elan Williams (GBR), third on 1,073 points.


Ranking Spotlight: Nina Mallevaey makes it into the top 10 of the Longines Rankings

France’s emerging talent Nina Mallevaey has climbed to the Top 10 of the Longines Rankings for the first time in her professional career. Her consistency during 2025 has propelled her to the elite of international Jumping and the last month of December she has been competing in Thermal (USA), where she delivered several top 5 performances. Mallevaey, who has recently turned 26 years old, has ended the year as FEI Jumping U25 Ranking number one, and now also sits in eighth position in the Longines Rankings.
