FEI Rankings Monthly Update – July 2025

The FEI oversees around 70 Rankings and Standings across all the disciplines, from World Rankings calculated on a monthly basis for Athletes, Horses and/or Combinations, to league, team and regional based standings for Series such as the Longines League of Nations™, FEI World Cup™ and FEI Nations Cup™, as well as a variety of youth categories, among others. 


You will find below a snapshot of the main movers and shakers for the month of July 2025 in the senior World Rankings, as well as a special spotlight on the FEI Endurance Riders World Ranking for this month’s special “Ranking Spotlight”. 

Longines Rankings: Kent Farrington remains at the top

Kent Farrington (USA) remains as world number one two months after reaching the top spot, with a tally of 3,161 points, closely followed by Great Britain’s Ben Maher, just 121 points behind. Former Longines Rankings armband holder Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) is third on 2,886 points, while Christian Kukuk (GER – 2,879 points) and McLain Ward (USA – 2,848 points) repeat in fourth and fifth positions respectively. 

Swiss duo Steve Guerdat (2,775 points) and Martin Fuchs (2,723 points) maintain their sixth and seventh positions respectively, while France’s Simon Delestre ascends to the eighth spot with 2,705 points, and Germany’s Richard Vogel climbs to ninth on 2,686 points. Cian O’Connor (IRL) closes the top ten after dropping from eighth, with a tally of 2,625 points.


Longines League of Nations™ Ranking: USA and Ireland battle for top spot

For the sixth consecutive month, USA (14,298 points) maintains its position as leader of the Longines League of Nations™ ranking. Ireland (14,139 points) remains close to the leaders, only 159 points behind, while France (13,499 points), Germany (13,108 points), Belgium (12,615 points), Great Britain (12,380 points) and Netherlands (11,462 points) remain third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh respectively.

Italy (10,964 points) is now eighth after surpassing Switzerland (10,797 points) while the last qualifying spot for the Longines League of Nations™ 2026 is still for Brazil (9,225 points), after surpassing Sweden last month, now 11th on 8,705 points.


FEI Dressage World Ranking – Athletes: Charlotte Fry becomes new leader

Great Britain’s Charlotte Fry is the new leader of the FEI Dressage World Ranking (1,939 points) for the second time in her career after dethroning Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour (DEN), who is now third with a tally of 1,793 points. Between Fry and Laudrup-Dufour is Germany’s Isabell Werth, who places second with 1,851 points. Becky Moody (GBR – 1,737 points) and Justin Verboomen (BEL – 1,675 points) remain in fourth and fifth positions.


FEI Dressage World Ranking - Horses: Glamourdale back at the top

Replicating the ascent of Charlotte Fry, 14-year-old black stallion Glamourdale is also the leader of the world rankings with 1,939 points closely followed by Jagerbomb (1,737 points) and DSP Quantaz (1,688 points) who are now second and third respectively. Zonik Plus rises to fourth on 1,675 points, while Total Hope OLD closes the top five on 1,613 points.


FEI Eventing World Athlete Ranking: Harry Meade keeps the top spot

After two consecutive changes at the top of the FEI Eventing World Athlete Ranking, Harry Meade (GBR) remains at the top with 588 points. Rosalind Canter (GBR - 550 points) climbs to second, followed by New Zealand’s Tim Price in third, just one point behind Canter. USA’s Boyd Martin is now fourth with 534 points, ahead of Great Britain’s Tom McEwen, who drops to fifth place with 512 points.


FEI Driving World Ranking - Four-in-Hand / Pairs / Singles: Exell, Hölle and Vignaud remain leaders

The top positions in the FEI Driving World Rankings Four-in-Hand, Pairs and Singles remain unchanged. In the Four-in-Hand division, reigning World Champion Boyd Exell (AUS) continues to dominate with 223 points. In the Singles category, Marion Vignaud (FRA – 70 points) retains her leadership, while Martin Hölle (HUN – 122 points) does the same in the Pairs category and retains the top spot earned one month ago.


FEI Endurance Riders and Trainer World Rankings: Virginie Atger climbs to the top

New leader at the top of the FEI Endurance Riders World Ranking, as France’s Virginie Atger holds now the top spot with 1,173 points. Her compatriot Melody Theolissat is now second, on 1,099 points, followed by Lea Vandekerckhove (FRA), with 1,025 points, making it a fully French top three. In the Trainers' Ranking, Mohammed Ahmad Ali Al Subosi (UAE – 1,266 points) remains the world number one followed by France’s Angel Lazes (1,166 points) and Switzerland’s Gabriela von Felten (1,128 points), who climbed eight spots in just one month.


FEI Para Dressage World Individual, Team & U18 Ranking: no changes at the top

Team USA are leading the way in the senior Para Dressage Rankings: Fiona Howard (2,174 points) and Team USA (1,369 points) retain the top spots in both Individual and Team rankings. Rixt van der Horst Hart (NED) is now in second position on 2,131 points, while Sara Morganti (ITA) drops to third on 2,103 points. Netherlands (1,365 points) and Germany (1,337 points) are second and third respectively in the Team ranking. Ireland’s Katie Reilly (1,218 points) leads the FEI Para Dressage U18 World Individual Ranking, followed by Clodagh Walsh (IRL), second with 1,073 points, and Elan Williams (GBR), third on 1,049 points.


Ranking Spotlight: Gil Berenguer Carrera climbs 17 spots in the FEI Endurance Riders World Ranking

Spain’s Gil Berenguer Carrera has had a remarkable ascent to seventh position in the world rankings after his stellar performance at the Zigulì FEI Endurance European Championship 2025 in Castiglione del Lago (ITA), where he earned Team Gold and Individual bronze medals, as well as Best Condition award for his gelding Jilguero II ex Clavijo de Guad. The Spaniard has returned to the top 10 after securing 804 points.
