FEI Rankings Monthly Update – October 2025

The FEI oversees around 70 Rankings and Standings across all the disciplines, from World Rankings calculated on a monthly basis for Athletes, Horses and/or Combinations, to league, team and regional based standings for Series such as the Longines League of Nations™, FEI World Cup™ and FEI Nations Cup™, as well as a variety of youth categories, among others. 


You will find below a snapshot of the main movers and shakers for the month of October 2025 in the senior World Rankings, as well as a special spotlight on the FEI Endurance Riders World Ranking for this month’s special “Ranking Spotlight”. 


Longines Rankings: Kent Farrington remains world number one

Kent Farrington (USA) remains at the top of the world rankings five months after reaching the number one, with a tally of 3,527 points, followed by Great Britain’s Ben Maher, on 3,108 points. Scott Brash (GBR) ascends to the third position after a successful summer season, with 3,036 points. Christian Kukuk (GER – 3,005 points) drops to fourth position, followed by his fellow countrymen Richard Vogel (GER) who is now fifth on 2,914 points.


Gilles Thomas (BEL – 2,859 points) stays on sixth position, followed by Netherlands’ Harrie Smolders, with a tally of 2,772 points. Laura Kraut (USA – 2,749 points) returns to the top 10 after climbing four spots, while Daniel Coyle (IRL – 2,717 points) and McLain Ward (USA – 2,617 points) are ninth and 10th respectively.


Longines League of Nations™ Ranking: USA, undisputed leader

For the ninth consecutive month, USA (14,897 points) maintains its position as leader of the Longines League of Nations™ ranking. Ireland (14,023 points) remains in second place, followed by current European Champions Belgium (13,828 points) in third. Germany has dropped to fourth place (13,694 points), while France (13,536 points) drops from third to fifth.


The rest of the top ten remains unchanged, with Longines League of Nations™ 2025 Champions Great Britain (13,091 points) on sixth followed by Netherlands (11,985 points), Italy (10,756 points) and Switzerland (10,441 points). The last qualifying spot is still for Brazil (9,732 points) and its most immediate threat is now Sweden (8,385 points), which has surpassed Canada, now 12th on 8,058 points.


FEI Dressage World Ranking – Athletes: Justin Verboomen consolidates at the top

For the second consecutive month, Justin Verboomen (BEL – 1,925 points) is at the top of the world ranking. In second position lies Isabell Werth, on 1,824 points, followed by Denmark’s Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour, who is back at the top 3 with 1,784 points. Becky Moody (GBR – 1,781 points) retains her fourth spot, while her compatriot Charlotte Fry closes the top 5 on 1,768 points. 


FEI Dressage World Ranking - Horses: Zonik Plus reigns for another month

The 9-year-old black stallion, and double European Champion, Zonik Plus, is the leader of the Horses’ ranking for second consecutive month, with 1,925 points. Jagerbomb (1,781 points) has climbed to second place (best-ever ranking), followed by Glamourdale, who drops to third with 1,768 points. Fame climbs to fourth position (1,636 points), followed by Bluetooth OLD, who retains the fifth spot on 1,615 points.


FEI Eventing World Athlete Ranking: Harry Meade, five months at the top

After the Agria FEI Eventing European Championship 2025 in Blenheim Palace (GBR), the rankings have witnessed some changes. Harry Meade (GBR) repeats for fifth consecutive month at the top with 588 points. Rosalind Canter (GBR - 550 points) is still second, followed by new European Champion, Britain’s Laura Collett in third - 69 points behind Canter. Her compatriot Tom McEwen climbs to fourth on 458 points, leaving Boyd Martin on fifth position, with 457 points.


FEI Driving World Ranking - Four-in-Hand / Pairs / Singles: Kelly Bruder gets to the Singles throne

The top positions in the FEI Driving World Rankings Four-in-Hand and Pairs remain unchanged. In the Four-in-Hand division, reigning World Champion Boyd Exell (AUS) continues to dominate with 244 points, while Stan van Eijk (NED – 147 points) remains at the top of the Pairs category. In the Singles category, Canada’s Kelly Bruder is now the number one with 86 points, followed by former leader Marion Vignaud (FRA) on 77 points.


FEI Endurance Riders and Trainer World Rankings: Lea Vandekerckhove and Diego Bellón climb to the top

France’s Lea Vandekerckhove is the new number one of the FEI Endurance Riders World Ranking with 1,093 points. Her compatriot Virginie Atger remains second on 1,000 points, followed by former leader Melody Theolissat (FRA) with 974 points, making it a fully French top three.


In the Endurance Trainers' World Ranking, Spain’s Diego Bellón Santosis the new leader after climbing eight spots with 1,206 points. Mohammed Ahmad Ali Al Subosi (UAE) is now second with 1,024 points. 


FEI Para Dressage World Individual, Team & U18 Ranking: no changes at the top

Team USA are leading the way in the senior Para Dressage Rankings: Fiona Howard (1,619 points) and Team USA (1,339 points) maintain the top spot in both Individual and Team rankings. Sara Morganti (ITA) and Rixt van der Horst (NED) remain second and third with 1,617 and 1,565 points respectively. Italy (1,313 points) and Germany (1,300 points) are second and third respectively in the Team ranking. Ireland’s Katie Reilly (1,272 points) leads the FEI Para Dressage U18 World Individual Ranking, followed by Clodagh Walsh (IRL), second with 1,157 points, and Elan Williams (GBR), third on 1,071 points.


Ranking Spotlight: Saana Nieminen climbs 29 positions to reach 11th spot at the FEI Endurance Riders World Ranking

Finland’s Saana Nieminen has completed two successful competitions in Romania, including a victory at the CEI3* 160 in Buftea along Bengali Shama. Only two days before, was able to finish on seventh place at the CH-M-YJ-E 120 with Amogjar al Payral. With those results, the 20-year-old Finnish athlete is now on the verge to enter the top 10 of the world ranking and currently sits on the 11th spot.
