FEI Jumping U25 Ranking: Belgium’s Spits retains his U25 crown
Thibeau Spits (BEL) may have had a relatively quiet September on the competition circuit after a sensational August when he claimed Team and Individual silver at the FEI Jumping World Championships 2026 in Aachen (GER) with Impress-K van’t Kattenheye Z. The Belgian remains the man to beat in the U25 division and is now marking his eighth month at the head of these important youth rankings. He first moved up to world number one in the end-February 2026 rankings, less than two weeks before turning 25 in mid-March, and no one has been able to topple him since. Back in February, Spits was sitting outside the top 50 in the Longines Rankings, but he is up into the world’s overall top 20, and he holds onto top spot in the combination rankings with Impress-K van’t Kattenheye Z. Spits’ tally of 2,485 leaves him a distance ahead of Antoine Ermann, although the Frenchman has closed the gap from 574 to 508 points after posting the only double clear on the winning French team at the final Longines League Of Nations™ qualifier in St Tropez with Floyd des Pres. The UAE’s Omar Abdul Aziz Al Marzooqi holds onto third on 1,857, ahead of Ireland’s Tom Wachman in fourth on 1,743. Monaco’s Anastasia Nielsen, still only 20 and another senior world championship debutante in Aachen, is up a place to fifth with 1,595.
FEI Dressage World Youth Ranking - U25: Swiss duo still head the unchanged top 10
The Swiss pairing of Milena Sophia Sulzer and Roksanda are atop the U25 Dressage ranking for the third successive month, heading an untouched top 10. Sulzer, 24, retains her previous month’s total of 1,655 for a 17-point advantage over second-placed and year-younger Robin Heiden (NED) with Hollywood. Heiden’s compatriot Lara van Nek and her U25 partner All At Once, who more than held their own among the senior ranks at the French CDI3* in Deauville in September where they picked up a Grand Prix Freestyle third and a Grand Prix fourth, remain third in the U25 rankings on 1,624, maintaining the 19-point gap to Denmark’s Team silver medallists Ida Kirstine Bjørn and Hotson in fourth.

Young Riders: Danish duo hold onto lead
Michella Skovsager and Zimillione PT2, the Danish duo who moved up to the head of the Young Riders rankings after a three-medal haul at the Young Riders Europeans 2026 in Pilisjászfalu (HUN) back in July, have held onto their lead over closest rivals, Lara van Nek (NED) and Jatilinda. The Danish combination’s 1,879 leaves them 25 points ahead of the Dutch pair, who were also triple medallists including double Individual gold in Hungary. Mette Dahl (GBR) and Daytona Platinum, Individual bronze medallists in the Freestyle at Pilisjászfalu, picked up three podium placings including two wins at Deauville (FRA) in September to move up from 14th to third on 1,783. The two wins mean that the British pair have demoted former third, Anna Have Larsen-Ledet (DEN) and Finnigan-Vitz, even though they are tied on the same points. Former world number ones, Anniek van Dulst (NED) and My First Choice – Dutopia, members of the Dutch silver medal team together with Van Nek and Jatilinda, drop a place to fifth on 1,774, ahead of Germany’s European Team gold medallists, Lana-Pinou Baumgürtel and Zinq Escalla OLD FH, in sixth on 1,702.
Juniors: Danish dominance continues in Juniors
The 1,926 points that boosted European Freestyle gold medallists Ida Bøllingtoft Asmussen (DEN) and Gozzip to the top of the Junior rankings at the end of July have kept the pair out in front of the end-September rankings, but there’s a challenger creeping up behind them. The Netherlands’ Annabell de Bock and Ostilio have leapt up to second on 1,793 after earning two wins and a second in the Junior division at the French CDIJ in Deauville earlier in September. Their elevation comes at the expense of Italy’s Matteo Borghesi and Incognito, who now drop to third on 1,784. Rikke Maria Schoubye Johansen and Baunehoejens Carpaccio, members of the Danish silver medal team at the Championships in Olomouc (CZE) in 2026, are also down a place to fourth on 1,777, ahead of teammates Isabella Struntze Torp and Vestervangs Garson, fifth on 1,772. The biggest movers inside the top 10 are Switzerland’s Leana Hofmann and Brando L, up from 77th to 10th on 1,648 after a clean sweep of the Junior classes at Ornago (ITA) in September.
Ponies: Rankings leaders hold tight in top five
There’s no movement at the sharp end of the Ponies rankings, with European Freestyle gold medallists Filippa Jæger Jensen (DEN) and Sir Sansibar holding onto the lead they established at the end of July. The Danish pair have retained their total of 2,012 to keep their four-point lead over Germany’s Leni-Sophie Gosmann and Diamantini EA WE. And there is still a six-point gap to Gosmann’s fellow European Team podium toppers, Lilly Kasselmann and Nasdaq FH, third on 2,002. Steffanie Victoria Horsted Dyrlund and Cosmo Callidus NRW, members of Denmark’s silver medal team in Le Mans (FRA), stay fourth on 1,996, ahead of Fabiënne Raijmakers (NED) and Wrong Is Right, fifth on 1,958.
Children: No major changes in Children’s top 10
The top end of the Children on Horses rankings is also mainly the same as a month ago, with Belgium’s double European Individual gold medallists Emilija Rucinskaite and Nice Guy STW unchallenged in the world number one spot. The pair, who also led Belgium to Team silver at the 2026 Championship in Olomouc (CZE), stay out in front in the newest rankings on 2,542 points. Shirley Vanerom and Ogami van het Beukenhof, who were also members of Belgium’s silver medal team, are unmoved in second on 2,404, with Mirco Mazza (ITA) and Settimo Cielo still third on 2,346, despite notching up a hat-trick of Junior wins in Ornago (ITA) in September. Linda Schuchmann and Figo de Halliers, who steered Germany to Team gold and also claimed double Individual silver at the Europeans, stay fourth with 2,250, and there is still a 10-point gap back to fifth-placed Amelia Dovey (GBR) and Sheepcote Jackson.

U25: Böckmann leads but there’s a challenger for the top
Germany’s U25 world champion Calvin Böckmann is still heading the U25 rankings after three podium finishes with his less experienced horses during September, including a 3* win on home soil at Langenhagen with Bubine P, but his lead has been drastically reduced. Now on 265 points, the German is only 15 clear of Oliver Barrett after the Australian finished eighth at the British 4* in Blenheim with his Aachen World Championships ride Sandhills Briar. And there’s a newcomer in third. The USA’s Olivia Dutton was also in the Blenheim prize money after claiming 13th with Jewelent, the horse she rode to Individual bronze at the U25 Worlds in Millstreet (IRL). Now on 211 points, the American took over the ride on the Irish-bred gelding in 2025, replacing her seven-time Olympian father Phillip, back-to-back Team gold medallist for Australia in Atlanta 1996 and on home soil at Sydney 2000 and Individual bronze for the USA at Rio 2016.
Young Riders: Underwood still on top
Jasmine Underwood, the British U25 Team gold medallist who came so close to an Individual medal with Indian Girl G when finishing fourth in Millstreet, remains at the head of the Young Riders division on an untouched 186 points, and is also up two places to fourth in the U25s. Germany’s Mathies Rüder, double gold medallist at the FEI Eventing European Championship for Young Riders 2026 in Segersjö (SWE), is still 16 points adrift in second on 170, just two points clear of golden teammate Pita Schmid in third on 168. Australia’s Lamoza Velisha is up one to fourth on 145, a single point ahead of Isabelle (Izzy) Cook, a member of the British silver medal team in Sweden, who has jumped from 10th to fifth on 144. Another big mover is Chile’s Mateo Garin, up from 40th to 14th on 110 after claiming Individual gold with Dakota at the South American Games in Rosario, Santa Fe (ARG) in September.
Juniors: Howard reclaims world number one slot
Ella Howard, the British junior athlete who was bidding for consecutive European titles with Marchwood but had to settle for Team bronze in Segersjö (SWE) at the end of August, has moved up a place in the rankings to reclaim world number one status. Howard recorded two top 20 finishes in the 80-starter 3* long format at Osberton (GBR) in September – 11th with Delauney and 17th on Marchwood – and a boosted total of 96 points puts her 10 ahead of German Team gold and Individual silver medallist Iliane Hannalisa Hein, with former rankings leader Teresa Leowald (GER), who returned from Sweden with both the Individual and Team honours, dropping to third on 83. Howard’s bronze medal teammate Annabel Ridgway stays fourth on 73, with Germany’s Lukas Wilhelm Sühling hanging on to fifth on 70 in an otherwise unchan ged top 10.
FEI Para Dressage U18 World Individual Ranking: Williams maintains her lead
Elan Williams, the Grade I Para Dressage athlete who has yet to get the call-up for the British team, remains the dominant force in the U18 rankings. An unchanged total of 1,363 means the 536-point gap over fellow Grade I rider Clodagh Walsh is still in place, even though the Irish athlete has not been out on the international circuit since making her world championship debut in Aachen (GER) back in August. Lok Yee Louie Lam (Grade II), another championship debutant who flew the Hong Kong flag in Germany, stays third on 683. Belgium’s Emma Vercammen (Grade III) holds onto fourth with 553, the same tally as fifth-placed Carla Onrubia Roman (Grade IV) of Spain.
FEI Endurance Junior/Young Riders World Ranking: Fabre Carlus holds the advantage
Victor Fabre Carlus, who took over at the top of the Youth Endurance rankings after earning a Team silver and Individual fourth with Douentza de Lauzadie at the European Youth Championship in Jullianges (FRA) in July, has maintained his position as world number one. The French athlete, who was a member of the gold medal team at the World Championships 2025 in Buftea (ROU), earned another promising 160-kilometre completion this September when partnering with Sasha Lotois to sixth of 35 starters in Florac (FRA), just days after he turned 21 in his final season in Young Riders. His total of 865 puts him 91 points clear of second-placed Jiahe Sui (CHN), who is still in Juniors at the age of 17. In an unchanged top four, Portugal’s Antonio Lopes Avo stays third on 629, with Annamaria Clarke (USA) fourth on 589. Lou Biannic (FRA), who completed the Florac 160-kilometre ride with Haida El Quibi, has galloped up from ninth and is now in fifth on 574.
FEI Endurance Junior/Young Riders Combination World Ranking: New pairing takes over at the top
The French combination of Lison Allo and Hazziz al Ain have overtaken compatriots Pablo Tomas Arnaud and Shaailan'al Hfifa at the top of the Youth Combination ranking. The 17-year-old Allo, who partnered with Hazziz al Ain on the silver medal winning team at the European Youth Championship in Jullianges at the end of July, is now out front on 342 points, while the nine-year-old Hazziz al Ain has moved up to take over the lead in the separate Youth Horse ranking, and the pair are also fourth in the overall combination world ranking. Their compatriots Pablo Tomas Arnaud and Shaailan'al Hfifa have dropped to second in the Youth Combination ranking on 323, while Kuwait’s Dekheel E. D. Almutairi and Follow Me Font Noire stay third with 293.
