Welcome Lychgate Farm Riding School is a professional family-run equestrian centre located in the Leicestershire countryside. We are a BHS Approved Riding Establishment and Livery Yard and we provide an excellent and personal service, catering for riders of all ages and abilities from complete novices to the more advanced riders requiring specialised disciplines. Children from the age of four (please call for details) and adults of any size can be accommodated. Our friendly team is qualified throughout and we are proud to use the highest qualified instructors. As part of our training we regularly hack out. In the summer we set up a 23 fence cross country course covering 15 acres of grassland, for everyone to enjoy. We have our own Pony Club that meets each week where members can gain awards for all things equestrian. We provide training for instructors to gain their BHS and NVQ qualifications. We accommodate works experience and outreach students from main stream education. In addition we voluntarily cater for special needs students. Special Events: At Lychgate Farm we run many different holiday activities, including Pony days with gymkhana events; pony care days; combined training days; and our popular summer camp. In addition we run both private and group lessons, and can provide a great venue for birthday parties – the former milking parlour being the perfect venue to celebrate afterwards. We have Lead Reign Lessons available for beginners so please come along and give horse riding a try. WE CAN CATER FOR ALL AGES AND ABILITIES .
