De Hoge Oorsprong is an international showjumping stable based in Velp (Holland). Owner Theo Jansen and Karim El Zoghby started a partnership at the beginning of 2011. Through their own breeding and buying talented jumpers, De Hoge Oorsprong always has horses clients are looking for. Wheter it will be finding an appropriate showjumper, the purchase, the sale, the training or education of a horse; a very professional level is guaranteed. The Stable De Hoge Oorsprong is a modern training accomodation on a very nice location in Velp (Holland). There are 20 spacious stables, 8 grass paddocks, big outdoor arena (Agterberg), nice indoor arena (Agterberg), lunging circle, walker, nice grooming areas and across the street there is one of the biggest forrests of Holland. De Hoge Oorsprong has all the facilities if clients wants to stay longer. The team of 'De Hoge Oorsprong' Theo Jansen's Commercial background forms the base from which he has started investing in his hobby: talented showjumpers. Karim el Zoghby is an Egyptian rider who is based in Holland for more than 10 years already. He competed 3 times at the World Equestrian Games (Jerez de la Frontera 2002, Aachen 2006 and Kentucky 2010), 2 Olympic Games (Beijing 2008 and London 2012) and several times at the Mediteranean Games. Karim is riding a lot of international shows and when he is at home he helps clients finding the perfect horse or is driving around looking for horses. Eva Jansen is the daughter of Theo and is riding everyday after school. She already competed with several horses at the highest national level. Martin Collins is the stable manager at De Hoge Oorsprong. Mariëlle Schotenboer is the groom for Karim and goes all over the world with Karim's horses. José van Warmerdam is one of our stable-grooms.
