Cross Country Schooling

Cross Country Schooling course includes 2 water complexes, 7 ditches, 3 step complexes and a wide variety of portable and permanent cross country obstacles. Size of fences range from 50cm-1.10m.

Skull hat and body-protectors are compulsory.

Dogs allowed as long as on short leads at all times and not causing a nuisance in anyway to other horses and riders.

Stay out of areas that are not clearly part of the cross country schooling area.

Be careful to stick to obstacles that are within yours and your horses ability. Any falls or accidents must be reported to Leyland Court Farm. Any damage to any facility or obstacle must be reported.

Please take all your rubbish with you.

There are well over 100 obstacles on course.
The vast majority of fences are not on all weather surfaces. If the ground is particularly hard we put sand and rubber or wood chippings on the take off and landings.
Skinny fences or fences that can only be jumped in one direction are flagged.
