About

OUR HISTORY

Dalways Bawn Equestrian was established by Jenny Caldwell with the backing of her supportive parents James and Carole Caldwell, approximately thirty years ago.

Dalways Bawn Equestrian was created as a livery yard in response to local demand and to changing times within the Agricultural industry. Jenny is a HSI (Horse Sport Ireland) level 1 Coach and she is the 7th generation of the Caldwell family to manage the family farm and business in this location. Jenny holds her undergraduate degree in Agriculture from the prestigious Queens University, Belfast, alongside a Masters and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. Jenny has also completed further qualifications in Leadership and Management and continues her education to keep her CPD up to date for her coaching qualifications.

Dalways Bawn Equestrian has a friendly, family run atmosphere. The yard is named after the ancient monument which overlooks it and is known locally as 'the towers' or 'the castle'. The monument and the yard are located on the Dalways Bawn Road (also named after the monument) and is located between Carrickfergus, Whitehead and Ballycarry in Co.Antrim, Northern Ireland.
