Equjobs, a digital careers platform created specifically for the unique needs of the global equestrian industry, has been officially introduced to the international equestrian community at the FEI World Championships Aachen 2026.
Designed to connect professionals and employers across every sector of the equestrian world, Equjobs provides a centralised digital platform where users can discover opportunities, recruit talent and build careers. It brings together the wider equestrian ecosystem, including athletes, trainers, grooms, stables, veterinarians, farriers, brands, service providers and other industry professionals.
The platform was born from a family-rooted idea that combines generations of equestrian experience with digital expertise. Co-founders Ömer Ersin, a fourth-generation equestrian, and Burak Dost both grew up immersed in the sport. Together, they bring complementary strengths to Equjobs, blending deep equestrian knowledge with technology and digital innovation.
The idea for Equjobs originated with Ömer’s father, Ali Ersin – a former national rider and President of one of Türkiye’s leading equestrian clubs – who recognised the need for a more structured way to connect talent with opportunities across the industry. Building on this insight, Ömer and Burak developed the concept together, combining their lifelong experience in the equestrian world with technology to create a modern digital platform.
“Years ago, Ali Ersin identified a clear and recurring challenge in the equestrian world: finding the right people still depended heavily on personal networks, word of mouth and informal channels,” Ömer Ersin said reflecting on the challenge that inspired Equjobs. “With Equjobs, we want to help professionals discover better career opportunities while enabling employers to find the right people faster and more reliably.”
Describing how that vision was translated into a practical solution, Burak Dost added: “Our goal was to build the solution our industry has long been missing, which is a professional and structured platform designed specifically for the equestrian workplace. By combining our experience in equestrian sport with technology, we have created a platform that understands the industry from the inside and provides the digital tools needed to connect people more effectively.”
Equestrian recruitment is highly specialised, with employers often requiring professionals with specific discipline knowledge, competition experience and technical skills. Equjobs has been designed around these requirements, enabling professionals to showcase their specific experience and expertise, while allowing employers to create verified profiles, advertise positions and manage applications directly through the platform.
Users can discover opportunities, apply for roles, connect with verified industry members and view vacancies through a live map.
Following its initial launch in June 2026, Equjobs has already gained early momentum, with more than 50 businesses across Europe and more than 500 professionals using the platform.
The introduction of Equjobs at the FEI World Championships Aachen 2026 reflects a shared commitment between Equjobs and the FEI to supporting the long-term sustainability and professional development of the global equestrian workforce.
“We welcome Equjobs as an important initiative to strengthen the professional side of our sport,” FEI President Ingmar de Vos said.
“The FEI has a responsibility to support the people who sustain our sport and to help create opportunities for them beyond competition. This includes enabling athletes to develop dual careers alongside their sporting ambitions, while also helping people across the wider equestrian community to build skills and long-term careers. Equjobs is a practical way of supporting this responsibility by bringing greater visibility to career opportunities across our industry.”
