FEI Jumping U25 Ranking: Double silver Spits stays out front 

Thibeau Spits is just 25, but he already has a CV that reads like a veteran, including double silver at the FEI Jumping World Championship 2026 in Aachen (GER). Not surprisingly, the Belgian has extended his advantage in the U25 rankings and now has a massive 574-point lead. The three-time European Youth Championships gold medallist has also added team gold at the senior FEI Jumping European Championship 2025 to his tally. It’s easy to see why Spits and Impress-K van't Kattenheye Z have also taken over as the number one combination (up from fourth) in the world.

For good measure, Spits has jumped from 40th to 19th in the Longines Rankings. Now sitting on 2,495 points, he virtually needs binoculars to see his closest U25 challenger, Antoine Ermann on 1,921. Ermann was a member of the French quartet that just clung onto an Olympic team quota place for LA28 after finishing eighth in Aachen.

The UAE’s Omar Abdul Aziz Al Marzooqi, individual silver medallist at the Youth Olympic Games 2018 in Buenos Aires (ARG), made his world championship debut in Aachen and finished 13th with Enjoy de la Mure. He is up three slots to third on 1,817, pushing Ireland’s Tom Wachman down a place to fourth on 1,770.

FEI Dressage World Youth Ranking - U25: No changes at the sharp end

Switzerland’s Milena Sophia Sulzer and Roksanda, who moved up from seventh to take over as World Number one in the end-July 2026 U25 ranking, have held onto that top spot in an unchanged top-20. Sulzer and Roksanda, her partner at the mid-July FEI Dressage European Championship for U25 2026 in Pilisjászfalu (HUN), where Switzerland just missed out on a team medal in fourth, remain on 1,655 to leave them 15 points clear of second-ranked Robin Heiden (NED) and Hollywood.

Fellow Dutch athlete Lara van Nek and her U25 partner All At Once stay third on 1,624, ahead of Denmark’s team silver medallists Ida Kirstine Bjørn and Hotson, who are just 19 points off the pace in fourth. With no Youth events for Dressage during August 2026, the rankings and points across all these divisions remain static.

FEI Dressage World Youth Rankings – Y, J, P, Ch 

Young Riders: Skovsager & Zimillione PT2 stay unchallenged at top

Denmark’s Michella Skovsager and Zimillione PT2, who cantered their way up from 72nd to take over at the top of the Young Riders division after nailing team and individual bronze and Freestyle silver at the July Europeans in Pilisjászfalu (HUN), are still sitting pretty out in front on 1,879 points. Closest to them is Lara van Nek, whose team silver plus double-gold PB performances with Jatilinda in Hungary, leaves the Dutch pair with 25 points still to make up over the leaders. Anna Have Larsen-Ledet (DEN) and Finnigan-Vitz hold onto third place on 1,783, nine points ahead of former world number ones, Anniek van Dulst (NED) and My First Choice – Dutopia, who were also part of the Dutch silver medal team. Lana-Pinou Baumgürtel and Zinq Escalla OLD FH, whose European team gold for Germany boosted them up from 26th and into the top-five in the previous rankings, remain fifth on 1,702.

Juniors: Asmussen & Gozzip still well ahead 

Ida Bøllingtoft Asmussen (DEN) and Gozzip, who had moved up from eighth to world number ones in the end-July rankings after clinching team and individual silver and Freestyle gold at the European Junior Championship 2026 in Olomouc (CZE) in July, have held onto the top spot in the Juniors. Their points total of 1,926 puts them an impressive 142 clear of Italy’s Matteo Borghesi and Incognito on 1,784. Rikke Maria Schoubye Johansen and Baunehoejens Carpaccio, members of the Danish silver medal team, sit third on 1,777, a mere three points ahead of Martha Raupach and Francis Drake OLD, team gold medallists for Germany. And there’s an even slimmer margin of just two points to fifth-placed Isabella Struntze Torp and Vestervangs Garson, who were also on that silver medal quartet and are among no fewer than five Danish combinations in the top-10.

Ponies: Jæger Jensen & Sir Sansibar hold their advantage

The European Freestyle golden duo of Filippa Jæger Jensen (DEN) and Sir Sansibar, who moved up to the number one spot in the Pony rankings at the end of July, are still out in front on 2,012 points. But there’s very little wiggle room at the top, with the Danish pair just four points clear of Germany’s Leni-Sophie Gosmann and Diamantini EA WE, whose fellow European team gold medallists Lilly Kasselmann (GER) and Nasdaq FH are a further six points behind in third. Steffanie Victoria Horsted Dyrlund and Cosmo Callidus NRW, also members of Denmark’s silver medal team in Le Mans (FRA), stay fourth on 1,996, ahead of Fabiënne Raijmakers (NED) and Wrong Is Right, fifth on 1,958. 

Children: Rucinskaite & Nice Guy STW still unchallenged at top

Emilija Rucinskaite and Nice Guy STW, who moved up to head the Children on Horses rankings at the end of July after taking double individual gold and leading Belgium to team silver at the European Championship 2026 in Olomouc (CZE), stay out in front in the latest rankings on 2,542 points. Their team-mates, Shirley Vanerom and Ogami van het Beukenhof, hold onto second on 2,404, well clear of Mirco Mazza (ITA) and Settimo Cielo in third with 2,315. Linda Schuchmann and Figo de Halliers, who led Germany to team gold and took double individual silver at the Europeans, have maintained their hold on fourth place with 2,250, 10 points ahead of Amelia Dovey (GBR) and Sheepcote Jackson, who leapt up from 42nd to fifth a month ago.

U25: U25 world champion Böckmann still leads

Despite taking a break from competition after his sensational gold medal victory in July’s inaugural U25 World Championship 2026 in Millstreet (IRL) and leading Germany to team silver with Altair de la Cense, Calvin Böckmann is still very much the man to beat at the head of the U25 Eventing rankings. Böckmann did make it to the senior World Championship 2026 in Aachen (GER), but only to support his teammates and watch them take team silver, while the unstoppable Michael Jung and fischerChipmunk FRH reclaimed the world title Jung first won back in 2010 with La Biosthetique Sam FBW. Now in his final year in the U25 ranks, Böckmann’s tally of 328 gives him a 98-point advantage over second-placed Olivier Barrett, whose tour of the design master Giuseppe della Chiesa’s Aachen track ended early after an unscheduled dismount from Sandhills Briar. Alice Casburn, a member of the gold medal winning British team in Millstreet, has moved up one place to third with 210 points. She was unable to challenge for the individual title, however, when overnight leader Topspin was not fit to compete for the final jumping phase. Casburn is 16 points clear of the USA’s Molly Duda, who is up from seventh to fourth and a single point ahead of her Millstreet teammate Olivia Dutton, who took individual bronze with Jewelent.

Young Riders: Underwood holds her lead 

Jasmine Underwood, the British athlete who had galloped up to take over as world number one in the Young Riders rankings after partnering Indian Girl G to team gold and finishing just off the individual podium in fourth at the first-ever U25 World Championship held in Millstreet (IRL) back in July, has held onto the top slot and leads on 186 points. But there’s a newcomer in at world number two in the form of Mathies Rüder, who won individual and team gold for Germany at the FEI Eventing European Championship for Young Riders 2026 in Segersjö (SWE) at the end of August. Rüder has climbed up four places to within 16 points of the leader and, in doing so, is also up from 16th to eighth in the U25 rankings, while Underwood has slid from second to sixth in the U25s. Pita Schmid, who won individual bronze and was part of Germany’s golden team, is up from 10th to third on 168, 10 points ahead of Paul Barret, who led France to team bronze in Sweden and has risen from 11th to fourth. Carl Voigt, a third member of Germany’s winning quartet, has leapt up into the top-10 and now sits seventh (from 27th) on 141, immediately ahead of Segersjö team and individual silver medallist, Elizabeth Barratt (GBR) on 137.

Juniors: Leowald takes over as world number one

Germany’s incredible run of success at the FEI Eventing European Youth Championships 2026 in Segersjö (SWE) in August saw them take team and individual gold in both the Young Riders and Juniors divisions. Meanwhile, double gold winner Teresa Leowald has waltzed to the top of the Juniors rankings. Leowald and DJ Continus were unbeatable from the outset in Sweden, finishing on their dressage score to claim the individual title and lead Germany to the team honours. As a result, 17-year-old Leowald – who still has another year in Juniors – has boosted her rankings points to 93 and shot up from 11th and into the lead at the expense of Ella Howard, a member of Great Britain’s bronze medal quartet, but losing out in her bid for back-to-back Junior titles. Howard’s 88 points leave her just two clear of Germany’s Iliane Hannalisa Hein, who added individual silver to her team gold with Akeby's Quemiro Silla. Annabel Ridgway (GBR), fifth individually with Emerald Katie, is up nine places to fourth on 73, with Germany’s Lukas Wilhelm Sühling, individual fourth at the championships with Allnightparty, galloping up from 29th to fifth on 68. Ireland’s Maeve Deverell, who led Ireland to team silver and also claimed individual bronze with Annaharvey Dunowen, is up from 21st to 11th with 56 points.

FEI Para Dressage U18 World Individual Ranking: Williams’ lead diminished 

Elan Williams, the British Grade I Para Dressage athlete, still heads the U18 rankings. A sizeable lead has been reduced to slightly less enormous dimensions, however, with Williams’ tally of 1,363 leaving her 536 points ahead of Ireland’s Clodagh Walsh (Grade I) on 827, after Walsh’s World Championship debut in Aachen (GER). While there are some changes in the points for those who competed at the Worlds, the athletes are in the same order as the previous month, with Hong Kong’s Lok Yee Louie Lam (Grade II) in third on 683 and Belgium’s Emma Vercammen (Grade III) still fourth but edging closer with 553. Carla Onrubia Roman (Grade IV), who sported the Spanish flag on her saddlecloth in Germany, has also boosted her total but remains fifth on 533.

FEI Endurance Junior/Young Riders World Ranking: Fabre Carlus moves ahead

Victor Fabre Carlus, a member of the French silver medal team on home soil at the July European Youth Championship 2026 in Jullianges and just off the individual podium in fourth with Douentza de Lauzadie, has taken over at the head of the Youth Endurance rankings. The French athlete, who turned 21 on 14 September, is on 869 points after two good runs in Monpazier (FRA) last month for a 3* 160-kilometre completion with Bamos de Kerdraon and a 2* 120-kilometre sixth-place finish with JM Machete. Former world number one Jiahe Sui (CHN), despite picking up a 2* 120-kilometre win with Galiko Becherel AA on home ground in Taomagou, has dropped to second on 749, 120 points off the pace. Portugal’s Antonio Lopes Avo, who won’t turn 17 until December, has raced up the rankings after winning the Monpazier 160-kilometre ride with Cherie de Ghazal from a field of 48 starters that included Spain’s former world champion Maria Alvarez Ponton in second. The Portuguese athlete is now up from 10th to third on 687 points.

FEI Endurance Junior/Young Riders Combination World Ranking: French duo stay at number one

The French pairing of Pablo Tomas Arnaud and Shaailan'al Hfifa have not been out since taking team and individual silver at the European Youth Championship on home ground in Jullianges on the final day of July, but that has not prevented the duo from holding on at the top of the youth combination rankings on an unchanged total of 426 points. Shaailan'al Hfifa also stays out in front in the dedicated Youth Horse ranking. Fellow French athlete Lison Allo was a member of the silver medal winning team with Hazziz al Ain, and this pair have now moved up another place to sit second on 342. Kuwait’s Dekheel E. D. Almutairi and Follow Me Font Noire, who were fourth of 90 runners in last month’s 3* 160-kilometre ride in Al Ula (KSA), have now moved up from fifth to third on 293.
