With just over three weeks to go, don’t miss the chance to witness the world’s best horse and rider combinations take on five-star eventing’s ultimate test.

World number one and Burghley Ambassador Tim Price returns to Lincolnshire with CCI5* winner Falco and Global Quest, while his wife and Badminton heroine Jonelle Price will ride Chilli's Midnight Star.
British stars include European Champion Laura Collett and her brilliant cross-country mare Bling, who finished tenth at Burghley last year, while Harry Meade returns with three entries, including 2025 Burghley third-placed Cavalier Crystal.
Also returning is Gemma Stevens, who will partner 2021 Bicton CCI5* champion Chilli Knight.

There will be plenty of fresh faces and exciting horses making their Burghley debuts this September.
Among them are three particularly promising 10-year-olds: Sarah Bullimore's homebred Corimiro, Tom Jackson's United 36 and 2022 World Champion Yasmin Ingham, who will tackle her first Burghley aboard Goliath Du Loir.
Yasmin is one of nine Burghley debutants in this year's field, alongside US championship team member Caroline Pamukcu, Swiss rider Robin Godel and young British riders Jack Pinkney and Mary Edmundson.

The experts at EquiRatings have been crunching the numbers, with Sarah Bullimore and Corimiro currently named as the pair to beat. The partnership has a 21% chance of winning, according to EquiRatings, with a 63% chance of finishing inside the top 10.
World Number One Tim Price and Falco are second favourites, while David Doel and Galileo Nieuwmoed are third.
David and Galileo Nieuwmoed finished runners-up at Burghley in 2023 and are one of just two partnerships in this year's field to have previously completed Burghley on their dressage score, alongside Harry Meade and Cavalier Crystal.

With entries still open until Monday 17 August, the final field will be confirmed following the FEI World Championships in Aachen, Germany.
The draw will take place on Tuesday 18 August, giving us our first look at the starting order for Defender Burghley 2026.
