The Longines Global Champions Tour gallops into Riesenbeck this week, with the iconic venue set to host the 11th leg of the 2025 championship season from 12 - 14 September. Nestled in the lush countryside of Germany, the world-renowned Riesenbeck International - the home base of equestrian legend Ludger Beerbaum - will provide the ultimate setting for a weekend of elite show jumping.

German fans are in for a home-turf spectacle with some of the sport’s biggest national names confirmed to compete. Fresh off a string of strong performances, crowd favourites including Christian Ahlmann, Marcus Ehning, Katrin Eckermann, Hans-Dieter Dreher, Jana Wargers, David Will, and Philipp Weishaupt will headline a stellar home line-up, joined by Janne Friederike Meyer Zimmermann, Jorne Sprehe, and Gerrit Nieberg.

With the LGCT Championship race heating up, all eyes are on Max Kühner, who continues to battle to retain his title for the 2025 season, currently sitting in 10th place. But with no Gilles Thomas this week, Andreas Schou, Christian Kukuk, Maikel van der Vleuten and Simon Delestre, are hot on his heels, with just a handful of points separating the front-runners in one of the most unpredictable seasons to date.
