PARIS HOSTS THE WORLD PREMIERE OF HORSE GP: A GROUNDBREAKING NEW CONCEPT...

...BRINGING THE THRILL OF FORMULA 1 TO EQUESTRIAN SPORT

Accor Arena, 1–2 December 2026

On 1 and 2 December 2026, Paris will host the inaugural edition of Horse GP Paris, a brand-new international event set to redefine the show jumping experience by combining sporting excellence, innovation and world-class entertainment.

Hosted at the iconic Accor Arena, one of Paris's premier sport and entertainment venues, Horse GP Paris launches a major new fixture on the international show jumping calendar — poised to become the sport's must-attend season finale.

UNLOCKING THE FULL POTENTIAL OF EQUESTRIAN SPORT

Horse GP has been conceived as a new global platform for sport and entertainment, drawing inspiration from the models that have transformed their respective disciplines, such as Formula 1, MotoGP and SailGP.

Its ambition is to make show jumping even more immersive and spectacular, while never compromising the sport's integrity or competitive excellence. Designed for both spectators in the arena and international broadcast audiences, the format will showcase the world's leading riders and horses through an innovative and captivating production.

Horse GP aims to unite the global equestrian community, attract new audiences and firmly establish show jumping as one of the defining sporting experiences of the modern era.

PARIS, THE BEST CHOICE

Choosing Paris was the obvious decision. A global capital for sport, culture and major international events, the city enjoys a unique international profile, further enhanced by the legacy of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, which generated unprecedented enthusiasm for equestrian sport.

Thanks to a five-year partnership with the Accor Arena, Horse GP Paris is built on a long-term vision: to establish the French capital as the annual home of the world's premier indoor show jumping spectacular.

Horse GP Paris also marks the return of top-level international show jumping to the Accor Arena, a venue that played a defining role in the sport's history during the late 1990s and early 2000s.

At a time when equestrian sport is enjoying strong global growth, France stands as a leading international force: it hosts more FEI competitions than any other nation, equestrian sport ranks as the country's third-largest sport, the French Equestrian Federation is the largest women's sports federation in France, and the nation is home to numerous Olympic champions. This exceptional sporting heritage and proven excellence make Paris the natural stage for the world premiere of Horse GP .

AN AMBITION DRIVEN BY EXPERIENCE

Horse GP is the brainchild of Christophe Ameeuw, a visionary entrepreneur and one of the leading figures in the international equestrian industry. For more than two decades, he has created and produced some of the most prestigious events on the global circuit, including the Audi Masters, Gucci Masters, Longines Masters (Paris, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, New York and Lausanne), and the Riders Masters Cup.

With Horse GP, he is ushering in a new chapter in the evolution of show jumping.

" Show jumping has all the ingredients of a truly spectacular sport. With Horse GP, our ambition is to unlock its full potential by introducing a modern, fast-paced and accessible format, while never compromising on sporting excellence.

By staging the event on a Wednesday, breaking away from the traditional weekend competition schedule, we want to create a unique occasion: a major midweek sporting event for equestrian enthusiasts and anyone who enjoys the thrill of elite sport. Horse GP is not simply a new competition – it is a new way to experience our sport."
